Bonsái
I really don't know if I have a favorite author (In fact, I find it too hard to have "favorite things"
because I am too scattered for the things I like) but I really like Alejandro Zambra's books, a 44-year-old Chilean
writer and poet. In fact my favorite book is his, and his name is "Bonsai". In the book, the author recounts
several episodes of a couple's life over several years. He does it in such a way that the book, although is short,
catches the public who read the book. (as a curious fact the book was taken to the cinema by director
Cristián Jimenez, and as in the book, everything happens in Valdivia <3)The last book I read was "Mapocho"
by Nona Fernández. She is my girlfriends aunt, but I would not recommend it just for that reason hahaha but
for the structure and simplicity (and show the reality of Chile) making "Mapocho" necessary read.
As in the cinema, I like drama, books based on reality and that talk about love. It is one of the topics
that I like the most because love is universal and at the same time it is something very mysterious and difficult
to define.

I've never read "Bonsai", but it looks interesting.
