My future (dream) job

Imagen
When I leave university I would love to get a job related to cinema, of course. I say it even if it seems obvious, because it is difficult to find a job when you just leave university. If I could get the dream job, I would like to work in an independent production company where I can contribute with my knowledge and creativity. I imagine a place where I will can write and direct films with a team where I feel in confidence. Collectively create audiovisual projects that contribute to Chilean cinema, giving a critical look at contingent issues. Also, making visible topics that interest me from emotionality, such as love and drama in youth, of this generation that has often wanted to be quiet for others. The job I imagine would be very free, no need to be in a office. I would like to travel the world with the projects developed, go to festivals and meet different cultures through the cinema :) I guess it's hard to think about salary when you talk about your ideal job, because when y...

Bonsái

I really don't know if I have a favorite author (In fact, I find it too hard to have "favorite things" because I am too scattered for the things I like) but I really like Alejandro Zambra's books, a 44-year-old Chilean writer and poet. In fact my favorite book is his, and his name is "Bonsai". In the book, the author recounts several episodes of a couple's life over several years. He does it in such a way that the book, although is short, catches the public who read the book. (as a curious fact the book was taken to the cinema by director Cristián Jimenez, and as in the book, everything happens in Valdivia <3)The last book I read was "Mapocho" by Nona Fernández. She is my girlfriends aunt, but I would not recommend it just for that reason hahaha but for the structure and simplicity (and show the reality of Chile) making "Mapocho" necessary read.  As in the cinema, I like drama, books based on reality and that talk about love. It ...

Life without movies is not life

One of my favorite films of all time is "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" directed by Michel Gondry. A movie that talks about forgetting someone if one wishes. Voluntarily, we can go to an specialist and ask him to erase from our memory someone specific. The movie shows a visually appealing mental walk. The protagonists are played by Jim Carrey (who does not play a comic role this time) and Kate Winslet. I love the photographic and acting treatment that the film has. Besides that, I saw her at the right time, adolescence! hahaha. I've seen this movie more than 20 times! I highly recommend it! And of course, I would see this movie many times more! I love what it makes me feel when I see it. And the inspiration that gives me to make movies :)   The most important reason why I'm studying the career of journalism is because I love to watch movies!   Every week I watch different types of movies that I download with my computer or with Netflix on television. When I ...
